“Albert Falco, Bébert, my “older brother” just left us for the Big Blue. His kindness, dedication & commitment will continue to inspire us to never stop taking care of our life support system…the ocean…until we join him in the Big Blue.” – Jean-Michel Cousteau
On Wednesday, May 9, the Polynesian Voyaging Society will join with other ocean-minded groups and individuals in honoring someone of like mind and heart: Albert Falco, Jacques Cousteau’s closest colleague, fellow diver and ocean advocate. Albert Falco recently passed away, and Jean-Michel Cousteau has asked people around the world to pay tribute on May 9 at 10 am, wherever they are, to remember Albert Falco and his work for the oceans with a moment of silence. (For more on Albert Falco, visit this link: “UNDERWATER EXPLORER ALBERT FALCO DIES“).
