Hōkūleʻa Update | June 13, 2015

Aloha, this is Haunani Kane from the Hōkūleʻa crew at Reef HQ aquarium in Townsville, Australia. Today, we are hosting our dockside activities in the aquarium. Outside we have canoe tours. Here in the aquarium itself we have our star compass as well as our aloha ʻāina peace flags and cell scope plankton station. I have been helping with the plankton station, sharing with the kids here some of the things that we found while towing on the side of the canoe. We also have our information station and streaming videos of all of the places we have visited so far on the Worldwide Voyage. We’d like to give a big mahalo to the Reef HQ for keeping us engaged here with all of the kids and families and sharing our love for the ocean. Thank you and continue to follow us on Hokulea.com.

Please help keep us sailing for future generations. All contributions make a difference for our voyage. Mahalo nui loa!
