Waimea Valley (North Shore) Native Planting Project

Join the US Forest Service for a hike into Kalahe’e Ridge to plant Native plants.
What: Native planting project (20-30 volunteers)
Where: Kalaheʻe Ridge (requires 45-minute hike in easy to moderate terrain)
When: 9:00a-3:00p, Meet at Waimea Valley Botanical Office (59-864 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleʻiwa) at 9am, short hike planting to site, can accommodate 20-30 volunteers
How to prepare: Bring at least 2 liters of water (required), closed toe shoes (required), lunch, rain gear, insect repellent, hat, long pants and long-sleeved shirt
