Hōkūleʻa in Sydney

Hōkūleʻa, the iconic canoe of the Polynesian Voyaging Society (PVS) and the Mālama Honua Worldwide Voyage, will celebrate her landmark 40th anniversary with a series of celebratory events and festivities throughout 2015, including a visit to the Australian National Maritime Museum.

**Update: due to bad weather, Hōkūleʻa will not be available at the Maritime Museum until Monday 18 May.**
MONDAY 18 MAY – WELCOME CEREMONY
- Hokulea will be berthed Wharfside as a visiting vessel. Welcome Ceremony will begin at 12pm.
- Join us online for a livestream of this event at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18 – AEST (Sydney time); 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17 – HST (Hawaii time).
TUESDAY 19 MAY – OUTREACH DAY
WEDNESDAY 20 MAY – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
- Hokulea will be berthed Wharfside as a visiting vessel. Visiting hours: 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 4pm
