As a Star-Advertiser reporter, Marcel hopes to give readers a glimpse of daily life aboard the wa'a (canoe) as a Mālama Honua crewmember and to share as vividly as possible the adventures and challenges of voyaging. While sailing, Marcel craves fresh fruits and vegetables, but he hopes that time at sea will reveal new insights, the kind you don't typically find back in everyday life on land!
