Jordan Jacobson from San Dimas, Calif. started voyaging back in 2014 with the Iosepa waʻa at Brigham Young University- Hawaiʻi, where he graduated with a bachelors in Pacific Islands Studies. Following graduation, he pursued an internship through the Okeanos program in Vanuatu for 3 months assisting in eco-tourism, disaster relief, and helping with crew assignments. He started volunteering with the Polynesian Voyaging Society throughout the 2019-2020 dry dock of both Hikianalia as well as Hōkūleʻa.
