EVENT: Mahalo, Hawaiʻi Sail – Maunalua, Oahu
PORT: Hawaiʻi Kai Towne Center, Maunalua, Oahu
DATE: May 12-24, 2018
Hōkūleʻa will be in Maunalua docked at the Hawaiʻi Kai Towne Center from May 12 – May 24. The Maunalua Heritage Festival will be held on May 12, 2018. On the week days we will have education outreach (stations) from 8am to 2:00pm, then public tours from 3pm to 6pm. On the weekends we will have ONLY public canoe tours.VOLUNTEER NOW
EVENT: Ola Na Iwi
LOCATION: Bishop Museum
DATE: June 23, 2018
We are participating in the Ola Na Iwi at Bishop Museum. This is going to be an amazing event. It is free to the public and will run from 3pm to 9pm. There will be estimated 2,000 people in attendance. Here is a list of things we will be doing. Star compass, plankton cell scope, card matching game, canoe model, and knots.VOLUNTEER NOW
EVENT: Midsummers Nights Gleam
LOCATION: Foster Botanical Garden
DATE: July 21, 2018
Foster Botanical Garden is having a voyaging theme at their Midsummers Night’s Gleam event. This is open to the community, we will be having our star compass out and selling merchandise.VOLUNTEER NOW
