Lecture: The Ahupua‘a

April 27, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Event Navigation

Join this discussion on how the ahupua‘a – as a land management system, concept, and way of life – provides the perfect context for the integration of traditional indigenous knowledge and modern science to solve today’s environmental challenges, as well as the creation of partnerships, and the involvement of stakeholders.

The Smithsonian Institute “Roots of Wisdom” display will end its stay at Windward Community College’s Library of Commons on May 5th.

This is the last in the lecture series and PVS crewmember Keoni Kuoha will be a panelist!
