ʻĀina is a photographer and editor at ʻŌiwi TV, the communications network that provides digital media of the Worldwide Voyage, through which he has been documenting the happenings of Hōkūleʻa since 2008. ʻĀina received his bachelor's degree from the University of Hawai'i in Creative Media and is excited to bring his background of narrative storytelling to tell the story of Hōkūleʻa's voyage. On the canoe, documentation and communications are ʻĀina's responsibility and he feels blessed for the opportunity and looks forward to interacting with the different cultures the canoe encounters along the way.
